Frostek/UNIQUE - 160/6.0
The Frostek UGP 6.0 is our premium, mid-sized (6.0 cu/ft) freezer. Although having the same footprint as the Frostek UGP-8.5, this model is double insulated and can therefore handle the most extreme climates and home owner demands. Many fishing camps use this model. Having distributed the Frostek line since 1993, we know the quality that goes into each unit. The model is CSA (AGA/CGA) certified and all Frosteks are the highest quality propane freezers on the market. You need a certified product legally in Canada (must also have a safety device), and for insurance purposes in the United States. If you're considering a model which isn't certified, your cottage/home insurance can be nullified! This model has many convenient features such as an easy access bottom-drain, and an exterior thermometer which measures and shows interior temperatures without you needing to open the top.
